September family open day!
Come down to the sanctuary to visit the cows, chickens, pigs, sheep, goats, ducks, turkeys and Tommy and Daniel the dogs, as well as hang out with a bunch of vegans.
As far as safely possible, the animals are free-ranging on the land. We ask you to respect their personal space though. Some want cuddles, some really don't. So please let them decide :)
You don't need to book, just turn up.
Entry is £3 donation for adults and free for kids under 15
There will be:
- Tea
- Food (as well as cake) - all vegan of course
- Fun games
- Educational tours where we'll tell the animal's stories, as well as give you updates about the project
- You can feed the animals (we will provide food)
Spread the word!
ACCESSIBILITY
The site is flat, although in the field it can be a bit bumpy in areas. There is concrete and hard standing, however the kitchen and toilets are in the field. The path is grass but flat and compacted. The compost toilets have 4 wide steps up to them, and there is an additional accessible compost toilet at ground level, with a wide door. Any other questions please ask, we want to make the sanctuary as accessible as possible to everyone
DOGS
Please do not bring your dog friends along because the animals are out and about. Thanks!
